Best I could find, wish I had paid for extras.

I don't like that I couldn't buy two rectangular USB cables of the same type, I had to look for 4 cables. So I could get 2 what I wanted. And I didn't want 2. These were the lowest profile rectangular USB connectors I could find and ended up one of them still being too thick for what I need it for, but with a little plastic shavings it fits perfectly . Both cables are working fine so far, no problems.

The best solution for computer accessories and peripherals

Need one for my car. Stupid design, but the USB port on the center console was high up, so if a cable was plugged in, the cable could always get in if someone got there. Over time, the port became damaged and had to be replaced. This solved that problem. Thanks to this extension's flat 90-degree connector, it protrudes very little, and now I can step onto the console without damaging the connector.

Ideal solution: USB cable

They work well and offer reliable performance

5 stars if they work as intended. They do. I don't actually use them for data transfer just to keep my DVR a little cleaner. So I can report that they work as expected for USB power. The processing quality is very good. The conductors are protected by a nice heavy rubber and both connectors have adequate strain relief. Didn't work for either of the two purposes I needed.

I wanted two of the 90 degree USB ports to face my USB ports down instead of sideways. The connection that didn't work was the connection I had from the laptop to the USB and HDMI ports, which allowed me to use a second display with my laptop (via the HDMI/USB path). It didn't work at all no matter what connector I used, leading me to suspect that this type of connector isn't compatible for some reason.
