This playpen is HUGE! It takes up the entire area of our living room, but we don't care because we just want our little one to have plenty of room to play! The mat has two colorful and textured sides to keep baby occupied and practice crawling without slipping. I think it's a bit expensive for what you get but I still agree because a) it's a great quality b) it comes with a mat and c) it is easy to assemble.
