AP Products 015 201612 Vent Shade Review

Good product. Looks good and appears to be very well built. However, it does not fit the Fantastic Fan with crank and rain sensor. Also, the screw holes don't match, the dimensions to cover the edges of the fan don't match. I didn't rate it badly because with the right venting it would be a great addition to an RV. I knocked it down for easier installation as it wasn't working with my fan. Since I finally couldn't assemble it, I couldn't rate the sun/heat protection and I returned it. However…

I wanted to block out the light coming from behind the bed in the caravan, I've been looking at "pillow" style stuff that you put in the hole but I didn't think it was particularly pretty would look like. I stumbled across this product and ordered 1 to see how it is. Installation didn't take long, simply remove the 4 corner screws from the original ceiling vent ring and place directly onto the existing ring. Unscrew the 4 screws, done. Great job with the delivery. The item arrived in excellent condition and quickly. So I have no problem with the seller. AP Products needs to get back to the drawing board. That's a great idea, but it won't work with a fancy vent. Every trailer I've ever seen has one or more of these in TT. So I'm surprised this works for everyone?
