Good buy Best in Power Strips & Surge Protectors

Very good plugs. Concerned for a minute because I saw a video review of this product showing that the plugs don't fit all the way in which they didn't initially but all you have to do is push them all the way in and they are very tight and tight so they don't come loose so I certainly appreciated it.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Modern

Great design. Quality Product

I think it's just a surge protector, but it deserves attention because of its elegant design. Two USB chargers and 11 sockets in such a small space! In addition, a flat wall outlet and eight-foot cord make this extremely useful. The attached picture shows the cord on the wall. It snaps into place at the 5 o'clock position outside of the socket.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Attention - USB sockets do not supply everything with power!

This surge protector made connecting computer/printer/external drive/monitor cables easy, but the 2 USB ports which were a HUGE reason I bought this unit only charges my phone and nothing else. I wanted to be able to connect a printer and my Intuos tablet and it wouldn't get power either so I went back to unplugging one to plug in the other and then unplugging again. This is the pain I hoped to solve. Buyer Warning!

Didn't work on over voltage

I bought this in late 2016 to protect my home entertainment equipment. In early July 2017 we had a thunderstorm that resulted in a power outage and surge. The spritz will fry anything connected to this device (LED TV, Blu-ray player, DirecTV, internet modem and surround sound system). The damage cost more than $1,000 to replace and repair. The surge protector shows that it still protects the devices, which is why it never tripped at all. This device is completely unusable.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works well, plugs fit most APC power strips

First, people say that sockets aren't deep enough for regular plugs. If you look at the video the customer took that supposedly confirms, it looks like she's barely pushing the fork. I've been using APC strips for years and some of their models are very tight to begin with, you just have to push them in hard enough. As for the circuit failure after a power surge, that's definitely a problem. I've never had a problem with this, knock on wood and live in an area with a very active storm season…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Generally a good device but the sockets aren't deep enough?

A few quick comments: Overall a good unit, with socket spacing suitable for connecting multiple flush-mount transformers. The USB plugs are convenient and offer full power for phones and tablets, as confirmed by the DROK USB tester, while drawing no measurable power when not in use, as confirmed by the Kill-A-Watt Power Usage Monitor. My only downside, which I haven't mentioned in other reviews, was that the sockets don't seem deep enough. Most of my plugs don't quite fit and sit a few mm above

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Unbreakable protection!

I have a small home studio in my basement. It's pretty modest, but I've put a lot of money into it over the years. I currently have at least $5,000 worth of equipment running I believe. I have a few failsafe devices, namely cascaded power strips, but this surge protector is basically the central power node. My computer and hard drives are directly connected to it. So my basement flooded yesterday. Luckily all my gear was safely off the ground, but I haven't had a chance to wall mount this surge

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Volume
