Works great, fits existing door handles.

Purchased after the original handle froze and broke in an ice storm when someone tried to open the door. I watched a video on YouTube on installation, everything is simple there. I saved a lot of money by buying this pen and making it myself. Very happy with customer service when part numbers got mixed up.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some little things

Don't pay for OEM on trim

Driver's side door handle on 2010 Nissan Rogue needs replacing. I was trying to get it done the same day it broke so I called my local auto parts store and they offered me over $140. No thank you. I got Revain - $17.66 and two days later I had the part I needed back and a fully working door. I only replaced the handle and not the keyhole part, but you can't tell they aren't the same.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Low repairability

Fits but could look better, chrome finish doesn't last long

Installed on a 2005 fx35 and works as it should. Cheap production means it has molded plastic dimples. Most people probably won't notice, but I'm currently looking for a genuine part to replace this one. Also, the chrome is a bit lighter than the factory grip. UPDATE: After 12 months of use, the chrome is scarred on the outside and beyond repair. Downgraded to 2 stars

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Frequency

Installed in 5 minutes with just one tool

Fits like a glove. I wanted to spend $350 ($143 + maker tax on the part + shipping + $150 labor) and a quick search at Revain saved me. Also, I was able to install this myself by watching a few YouTube videos. The only tool you need is the T-30 driver. When someone tells you they need to remove the door panel to fix the handle - 1) either they don't know what they're doing, or 2) they're trying to rip you off. .

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Fits 2006 Nissan Murano - takes approximately 1 hour to install

There are numerous videos on YouTube with installation instructions. But the bottom line is, if one of your Nissan Murano door handles is broken, you can make that replacement in 30 minutes. You do NOT have to dismantle the door or its inner panels. the hole cover on the edge of the door that you see when you open the door. Lift it up and you will see a bolt inside the hole. Loosen this screw and the part of the doorknob that houses the lock cylinder will be sticking right out of the door. Then

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

This product works well and is of good quality for a plastic part. It is chrome plated and fits the front driver's door of my wife's 2012 Nissan Rogue. So after a big headache I'll save you one day. I made the mistake of taking the whole door apart. Don't do this if you don't have to. This is very time consuming and requires two people to assemble everything. You have to keep the window. Instead, open the door, find a flat rubber grommet, and pull it out. There you will see a star-shaped screw.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only
