This product works well and is of good quality for a plastic part. It is chrome plated and fits the front driver's door of my wife's 2012 Nissan Rogue. So after a big headache I'll save you one day. I made the mistake of taking the whole door apart. Don't do this if you don't have to. This is very time consuming and requires two people to assemble everything. You have to keep the window. Instead, open the door, find a flat rubber grommet, and pull it out. There you will see a star-shaped screw. Unscrew them (you don't need to take the screw out, just unscrew it). This allows you to move the locking mechanism. . Once free, you can partially remove the lock by inserting the new doorknob. and just tighten that screw again. Place the rosette back around the lock and you're done. In fact, it shouldn't even take 5 minutes. I would like to make a video, but I took photos. This item is available at parts stores, in advance, Autozone. costs over $100. This product works perfectly. Oh, and I've never disassembled a car door before, so it's very easy even if you're not sure what you're doing.
