I used this color to "redye" a bleached organic cotton duvet. The blanket looks great and I think it's even better than the original color. This is dark gray charcoal. I used the paint in a hot water salt bath (I dissolved the sachets in a bucket of boiling water and then put them in a salt water bath). Rinses well and (so far) washes well. I received the fixative and will let you know how the color holds up. I let the paint dry for 3 hours (the first hour by moving the blanket, then stirring…

Intense perfect gray

I've been using jacquard dye on a variety of projects for about five years. I thought about using more gray for a while, but was worried about pulling the trigger as people have different perceptions of what "gray" is. A lot of things labeled "gray" I would call "light gray" and weirdest of all is the populace when people mistake a color for gray when it's undeniably 100% a shade of blue. This polish is perfect!

I love the performance of this dye - very long lasting results, true color and easy instructions. I have a set of king size sheets (flat sheet, fitted sheet, and two pillowcases) that I wanted to dye olive green. I found this iDye product at Revain.
