The Worst Thunderbolt Cable for Computers

This cable was a complete waste of money. It doesn't work consistently with my devices, frequently disconnects, and causes my computer to freeze. The only positive is that it's a little longer than other cables I've used. But even that doesn't make up for its lackluster performance. Avoid this cable at all costs if you want to save yourself the headache and frustration.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting cable
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other Thunderbolt 3 cables on the market

If you're having connection issues, try

Yes, this product is insanely expensive, but if you have a problem with a bad connection, go for it. If it still doesn't work, you can return it. As for me, I had a flickering issue on my 12" MacBook and 24" LG Retina 4K monitor with the included cable, which they made available a year later. The connection got better and worse as I tried the 0.8m white Apple Thunderbolt cable, suggesting that it might be a cable issue. This has not caused any problems and I am very happy with my investment.

Pros
  • . This 2m black braided cable lets you transfer data at up to 40Gbps and USB 3.1 Gen 2 at up to 10Gbps. s, DisplayPort video output (HBR3) and charging up to 100W
Cons
  • I don't remember

The best Thunderbolt 3 cable on the market

I' I'm a hybrid shooter of both photography and videography. I am using a 2019 iMac with an i9 8 core processor and an AMD Radeon Pro Vega 48 GPU paired with a Benq SW271c monitor both of which I use with DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, Photoshop etc to connect the Benq SW271C Am iMac, I first tried using the following cable: [Intel Thunderbolt Certified] Cable is 40Gb/s USB4 Thunderbolt 4 Cable with 8K Video and 100W Charging Power 2.6ft long - backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C…

Pros
  • Use this cable to connect a Mac with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) / USB 4 ports to Thunderbolt 3 devices like Pro Display XDR, docking stations and hard drives
Cons
