Description of SmokeAuthen-Tech – Unbleached DIY Crew

Magnificent brisket: the traditional texas style barbecue smoking paper for wrapping and smoking meat; it lets the meat breathe and reach optimum temperature faster; achieve the distinct smoky flavor and tasty crunchy bark. Very large roll: get more value for your money, our bbq butcher paper is 200 feet long, USA made. Highest grade: our bbq paper is made with the highest grade of red butcher paper fibers available; it provides superior blood, oil, and humidity holdout; ideal for bbq, it will not easily fall apart when soaked in oil or food juices. Made in the USA: traditional American peach butcher paper for smoking meat, preferred choice of top BBQrs; Also used for serving and wrapping all types of food. Unwaxed and uncoated: some butcher paper rolls from other manufacturers are waxed or coated, affecting the flavor of the food; our peach paper for smoking is all-natural, no wax, no coating, but still durable and resistant.

Not Worth the Hype: my feedback

Based on my experience, these food service disposables were a letdown. While the unbleached aspect may seem eco-friendly, the quality of the product was lacking. The joint papers were too thin and flimsy, making it difficult to roll and ultimately resulting in tears.

Pros
  • Pro: Eco-friendly
Cons
  • Con: Poor quality

The best brisket! for Meat Paper

I have always used foil when smoking brisket. When the stand falls, I wrap it in foil and let it cook. This time I chose pink butcher paper from DIY Crew. I did a double wrap at the kiosk and wrapped the breast tightly in paper. The paper didn't tear even though it absorbed some of the liquid from the brisket! It never burned out either! When it was all done I had the BEST BREAST I've ever smoked in all my years! The only thing I did differently was use this paper! I will never go back to foil…

Pros
  • 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗔: Traditional American peach paper for smoking meat, the preferred choice of the best grills; Also used for serving and wrapping all types of food
Cons
  • Long delivery time

A great replacement (actually an improvement) for aluminum foil

My husband is an obsessive griller/smoker so we've been using a lot of aluminum foil for the last few weeks. Tin foil is great, but it has its limitations, especially when it comes to the smoker. It just isn't as strong as butcher paper and adds another layer between the food and the smoke, meaning you don't get the full, rich smoky flavor that you would get if you wrapped meat in layers of aluminum. This pink (technically peachy, but I think it's pink) meatball paper is fantastic - it came on…

Pros
  • it offers excellent protection from blood, oil and moisture; perfect for grilling, won't fall apart easily if soaked in oil or cooking juices
Cons
  • I'll add later
