Great filter for do-it-yourselfers

Our oven builder said we don't need to change the filter yet. We haven't changed it in years and it all looked flaky! So we found another filter plate ourselves and replaced it. Big difference in humidifier performance. recommend it!

I really like this factory filter

Having used various aftermarket branded filters I can definitely recommend the Apilaire 35 replacement filter and have tried it in the store. It is no problem for me.

Fits Aprilaire 600M

Fits our 600M humidifier. This is the aluminum mesh main filter. If you have hard water or use a hard water softener, scale will form on the filter. In winter it must be changed at least once, otherwise the filter performance will be reduced due to the heavy deposits of soft or hard salts.

We've waited far too long to replace our original water filter which broke when we removed it. Be sure to observe the information on the exchange times! But they work well, and if you buy in bulk you can sometimes get them at a better price. <$9 each. Fortunately, additional moisture in the house during the cold season is worth such an investment.

A lot and they work great

A lot and they work great. Everywhere I've installed a humidifier like the Aprilaire 700, I've had static issues. The mechanic told me to use Aprilaire filters, not aftermarket filters which are cheaper and widely available. On a recent visit he showed me that they are a little thicker and made differently so they hold water better. Since I've been using them the static has gone and when I tested them I saw that they actually hold a lot more water and last a lot longer. Another example of…

Real Aprilaire Replacement Filter

Over the years I have had my furnace and humidifier looked after by a heating company. The humidifier was replaced about 6 years ago. Every year when it came time to check and clean the furnace and humidifier, the filters cost hundreds of dollars. My account has always been $350 or more.
