Using a 2 light dose mark with a 120d 2 mark is a great combination. The softbox is huge, so this isn't the softbox for you if you don't have the space. Otherwise, the assembly works perfectly and the dismantling is quick and easy.

It looks beautiful in every way and is very easy to assemble. I see abrasions on some edges. Maybe this is normal? As if I see a rope hanging from the two ends of a cone. But it works very well and comes with an egg case to direct the light better.

The Light Dome II is unique because it is so easy to set up. No more metal poles to assemble like every other Light Dome model - all the Light Dome II requires is to push the poles to the base to install, then push the metal buttons to close them loosen and take them apart. Excellent, intuitive and effective product.

VERY good quality. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Mind you, this thing is BIG. So when you are in the bedroom, expect it to take up a lot of space. In fact, I've decided to use it with the new SL-60w instead of the Aperture 120d. I understand that the new one has a few (small) caveats compared to the 120d, but the amount of money is a big win. Your choice depends on your use case. VERY GOOD PURCHASE.

Has not been used in production so my comment is limited to the assembly process only. The internal diffuser is supposed to be attached inside with four Velcro straps. My device came with Velcro straps that were too short, and when I tried to stretch the fourth strap to take advantage of internal diffusion, it broke. The internal diffusion straps are very flimsy, especially for this amount of money for this particular softbox. Not a good first impression and I haven't found a way to buy…
