This is exactly what I wanted. Really decorates the aquarium. However, the timer function confused me. Sometimes the light is still on when it should have gone out. But overall great light.

Everything about this lantern is perfect except the height doesn't prevent the bubbles from popping and hitting the light. I already have some condensation on the light even though my bubblers are off and the water level is a little lower. If you're using a tank without a lid I would doubt it, but the light works fine. Only I'm not sure how safe it will be in the long run.

Everything about this light is right except for one thing. The timer feature is very limited and you need to set it to the desired start time. You can't connect to a separate timer because it won't turn on automatically after the secondary timer turns it off. Even if the device turns off or flickers, you have to wait until the exact time of day you want it to turn on to reset it. Not good if you're on a crazy schedule. Otherwise solid product.
