🌊 Aqua Matte Raffia Ribbon, 1/4 Inch Width, 100 Yards Review

Be smarter than me and read reviews before you buy. The color is not the same as in the picture! This is a very light blue color and is unfortunately non-refundable.

Beautiful color but not nearly as functional as raffia. We tied loops to our fork and knife sets and they were difficult to tie and didn't hold up. If we could find this color in paper we would pay more for it because it would satisfy our needs.

Raffia isn't real raffia - it feels like plastic (think stretched plastic bags). Also, the color is obviously significantly different. I bought this because I thought it would be a perfect match for my engagement fans. It is clear that this is not the case. It looks more baby blue than advertised (I photographed the difference). And since the shipment was delayed (possibly an error on the part of the USPS), returning it is not an option. I had to use it, but fur. It was a failure.

The ribbon itself looks good but the color in the picture makes it more of a dull green-blue and what I received has a green cast to it. It's not a uniform color. Under direct light or flash, it will match the listing color, but without direct light it will appear blue. I expected it to be like craft paper and it's very malleable. Like plastic grocery bags, cut into thin strips and dyed blue. They don't have the typical feel of bast paper. It's more like bast.
