Ordered this for my 4 year old grandson. He can't and he's very smart. Damn, I'm having trouble getting this to work. I never dried the beads as the whole piece always broke. Used once and cleaned in the vacuum cleaner.

My 5 year old granddaughter loves beads. This set didn't have very clear instructions for some of the additional "gears" in the set. They have pages and pages of material in every language known to man, and it's confusing. Some good basic formulas for all treatments really add to the fun!

The label is glued to the outside of the box with aquamarine beads. There is no other packaging. It was supposed to be a gift for a child and it looks awful. This toy is too complex. Difficult to use a pen - tweezers would be easier. The beads do not always stick together and detach from the board. Also, the setup guide is wordless and completely useless. One day my daughter mastered it even though she liked it. I think Perler beads would be a better choice.

It seemed like a fun idea, but the reality is very different. The instructions for using the so-called bead setting trays were poor, and this kit did not include a bead puller. My kids love the starter set and fight for it, I thought the flip try would be great but the rainbow pen failed. I'm sure the turquoise beads open ok, but therein lies the problem. Santa was supposed to deliver it in 3 weeks but it came WITHOUT BOX today! There is a large address label on the side of the product! Why would Santa deliver a gift with our address on the side?
