Aqueon Mini Bow Filter Cartridge Review

After trying this filter cartridge, I was thoroughly disappointed. Despite being marketed for small aquariums, it hardly lasted a week before it became clogged and stopped working effectively. The only positive aspect was the convenience of being able to easily replace it, but this did not outweigh the negative experience. Save your money and invest in a higher quality filter cartridge.

They are perfect for my 5 gallon Aqueon Mini Bow which is actually not 5 gallons but 4.5 gallons. Anyway, the filters are fine.

My betta got sick. The filter seemed to get moldy very quickly. I cleaned the filter and changed it regularly. Decided to take it out. I put my betta in a "fish respirator" in a plain old glass bowl with no filter. In 3 days he was better.
