Aqueon LED Bubble Wand with Flexible Design Review

Updated review, it only works slightly. Only 1/10 of the vents worked and it looks like I received the returned item. It has cut holes in it. literally had to cut the hose to get it out. The light worked great but the hose needs an overhaul. return from a refund. I once had to listen to negative reviews here. Don't be me BAD buy.

This is amazing overall for a 10 gallon tank and fits perfectly. The lights are bright and do what I would call a "dance of light" as the light circles. The perfect number of holes in the hose to produce plenty of oxygen for our little fish. Very happy with this purchase and it's a great price for it! The only downside is that I wish aqueon upgraded it with a switch to turn the lights on and off in the future instead of having to turn it off to turn the lights off. You only need 1 for a 5-10…

The idea behind this product is great and when it's new and fresh out of the box it looks great. However, she does not tolerate the weather well. Individual fixtures are difficult to keep algae free and will fade over time. The bubble wand is your standard bubble wand that attaches to the light. I ended up separating them so that the bubbles were at the bottom and the bulbs were at the top, hoping I could keep the spotlights clear in a more accessible area (my aquarium is at least 2 feet)…

This is my second unit, they work great and last about twenty months. If it had lasted longer, it would have earned five stars. I leave the lights on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so that's a lot of hours even for an LED and they start out bright and bright and dim after about a year of continuous use. I love the flexibility, suction, blistering, consistency and zero maintenance. I enjoy blue light for the first few months. The light changes from blue to green. This is when you realize you are losing them. Mine lasted 5 months. But I really don't care. The bubbles emerge from the flexible hose much tighter than any other bubble wand.
