Strong motor. Easy on battery power.

Very strong power. I like the remote, gives me free range of motion around the boat. East to secure and replace and remove from the boat.

Pros
  • AQUOS Haswing Cayman B (NOT GPS) 12V 55LBS 48inch Bow Mount Trolling Motor is designed and engineered to run quieter than ever before. Cons
  • The motor speed isn't adjustable enough

Recommend people to skip buying this.

There is no way this piece should be plastic. It is part of the bushing that the Motor sits on so you can steer the motor. 1/2” of it snapped off and now there is just one have of it left. So if the other part breaks off. You will not be able to steer.Secondly there is also something wrong with either the remote or something. Because when you are moving. If you press the remote to go left. It constantly shuts off the motor every time. Very annoying. And i only hd it for an hour

Pros
  • This is the second one I've purchased, durable, tough design, easy installation
Cons
  • The quick release bracket doesn't always work properly

Very good quality for my opinion

Motor comes with a nice mounting bracket. Easy to install and securely holds the motor. Built in battery meter is a nice feature. Motor shuts off when out of the water and stowed in its cradle, another nice feature. I installed it in about an hour. Used it for the first time. The remote control was great. Speed and turning functions worked well.

Pros
  • The instructions are for a couple of models, the company was very quick to respond, thanks
Cons
  • It's difficult to install

JUNK! JUNK! JUNK! for my opinion

First time on the water and it stopped working. Reset it. Stopped working again. It’s a pile of crap. And of course. No warranty

Pros
  • It is a good idea
Cons
  • The motor can't handle heavy loads

Good Value good for me

Had 55lb thrust, and after 4 or 5 years the steering servo motor burned out. everything else still worked well. The motor is really efficient as far as battery usage goes. I bought another 80lb thrust from them last year. A couple things i would improve on is it seems that the cord on 80lb puts too much strain on the steering motor, so either a different design of the cord or a stronger steering motor, also at one of the speeds you get a real harmonic hum, others have noticed this as well. They…

Pros
  • Love it should have been got one along time ago...
Cons
  • It's louder than other trolling motors

This product was perfect for my Carolina Skiff. My son fishes in tournaments and needed something quiet but powerful and easy to use. This fits the bill. I do however wish I would have ordered the one that came with the foot control pedal as well but I will probably add it later. Overall a great product and easy to assemble and install.

Pros
  • This motor is great. Very quiet and runs great.
Cons
  • The wires can easily become tangled

Great product for a much more reasonable price then other .

I have a 16' pontoon boat on a 200 acre private lake. This motor works incredibly well for fishing the banks or just cruising around the lake at full speed. The remote hasn't worked the last few times but I haven't tried to reset it.If you are buying this for fishing, which I'm sure most are, I wouldn't rely on the remote but I would purchase the foot pedal which has worked flawlessly thus far. Great product for a much more reasonable price then other name brands.

Pros
  • ‎44 pounds
Cons
  • The weight distribution is uneven

Go ahead and get the foot control to be safe

I've had trouble keeping the remote synced with the motor and very much recommend the foot control as an option to have. I've found I use the foot control more than the remote. If your battery is low you can expect this product to not perform well. Mine will start up then constantly quit so you have to restart. Both batteries that I have are new and from different manufacturers. Which is the other thing. You'll most likely need two batteries. The one I have is a power hog. Does pull the boat…

Pros
  • ‎Black
Cons
  • The motor sometimes suddenly turns off

Couples things that really should be addressed. The yellow plastic rollers on the mount arms are brittle and very easy to break. I broke two by simply locking The motor in place. The quick release mount has threaded holes. One hole was stripped out which limits the ability to mount the product securely to the bow. The motor itself is great. The price is right. The warranty is great.

Pros
  • Boating & Sailing
Cons
  • The motor struggles with navigational obstacles
