Doesn't save arborists from rubbing but appears to be of good quality.

I ordered this friction protector for the arborist class I'm taking. Everything seems great except that it's actually more of a climbing friction protector as the smaller ring can't go through the larger one to get a good grip on the tree. It seems to be of good quality but for me it is unusable and I am sending it back.
