Takes out a brick in 2 minutes. The best power tool I've ever bought.

Makes brick repairs easy and profitable. Machined seams are a bit more expensive, but you can offset this with labor savings. I built an aluminum fence in the forest that takes root quickly. The labor savings on the fence job paid off for the tool. Without this tool, it would be impossible to complete the work. Love it!

Nice but expensive.

The Allsaw AS175 is a great restoration saw that cuts through mortar and brick like butter. The only drawback of the saw is that it does not like new mortar and brick, it cuts, but quickly wears out on the blades. The dust coming from the saw is extremely small, almost non-existent. I like this part a lot. Overall this is a great saw, they just need to drop the price a bit. The selling point is a bit overpriced.

Cuts bricks like butter

This quickly cut a 22.9 cm double brick wall on each side measuring 42 cm wide and 28 cm high. Each cut took about 30 seconds and the corners were cut at right angles (no cross hairs like on a circular saw). The blades penetrate the full depth of each Wythe stone. Store-bought vacuum hose keeps brick dust to a minimum. Expensive at $1025. Making straight and perpendicular cuts depends on operator skill, the tool cuts where pressed.
