🐶 Archie McPhee Handipug Finger Novelty Review

Was given away and she liked it very much. I wasn't personally impressed with the pug's looks, but she was happy and that's all that matters.

My 6 and 7 year old grandchildren couldn't use these puppets. While the idea is great and looks adorable, the finger holes were too big and pieces kept falling off my fingers. Also, the glans, which is on the middle finger, only points straight down because that finger cannot be lifted. The picture shows the hand up, but when you try to put the hand down to allow the dog or cat to "walk", the head will point down towards the floor. Would definitely not recommend.

I bought this for my son's father-in-law who has (and adores) a pug. The most interesting thing is that my son lives in Japan and his relatives live in a remote farming village and earn their living from rice cultivation (from generation to generation). When you give something like this to a Japanese rice farmer, it's fun to watch.
