Exactly what I was looking for. Storage space for old 8" x 10" photos, in addition to framing. The box construction is good, durability will show over time but looks like it will last a long time.

I have enough space to add a large number of protective sheets with genealogical information. The box is made of thick cardboard that can be crushed if handled carelessly, but will easily fit on a bookshelf. I have one for each family whose memorabilia I have collected. There may be more expensive types of leather, but I'll fill them in before considering anything more expensive.

The three ring clamshell box is great for storing old documents and acid free photos. I have many old photographs, handwritten letters and family history documents. This box works better as a scrapbook because it's lightweight and made of durable cardboard. The only issue I have is that it was sent in a large envelope and not a box. So it arrived damaged, the company returns the money but you have to pay for the return shipping. Since it will cost another $8 I decided to keep the box to myself.
