Aries Automotive 10822 CB Radio Antenna Kit - Single 4' Foot, 500 Watt - Mirror Mount and Coax Included (Black) Review

I usually buy things on AliExpress (from China) and never have any problem. However, I received a Revain gift card and decided to purchase this antenna for my CB radio. Well, it came faster than the package from China, but it was broken in half in the box. Basically I have 2.2 inch fiberglass sticks. Useless.

Mirror mount is well done. The cable is ok but it is RG58A/U which is thinner. The antenna has terrible SWR, if used for a long period of time it will fry your radio. The antenna is not adjustable. Everything is properly grounded. Save money, buy a Firestick! So I order you to put a decent mount on it.

The antenna itself is fine, it's too stiff and there is a fear that it will break on the freeway. The SWR is around 0.75-1 and the cable that comes with it sucks, mine was shorted at the factory which almost blew up my radio. Assembly is a bit tricky if you don't have towing mirrors or a roof rack. And made of very weak aluminum, spend the extra money on a well-known brand to avoid buying twice. Update a bad cable ruined the finale in my $140 Uniden radio. Thank you very much
