Good product. on Computers and Accessories

It works well with my gaming PC. However, for my laptop that uses an external display port dongle, I have to reconnect the display port on my laptop from time to time. I give it 4 stars because it doesn't work well with my laptop. Otherwise this is a good product.

Visual effects work, USB ports don't work

This switch is great for changing which computer the monitor is connected to, but none of the three front USB ports work.

Ok as a basic KVM, not enough for advanced use.

I think the device works fine. There are no legs under the metal case, it slides a bit on the table. computer to the next computer that is offline, the event sees as if the monitor was completely disconnected from the network. This is a problem as the windows are rearranged, the laptop may go to sleep, etc.

Exactly what I needed, works great and a good price!

This is just what I needed. Both outputs work great. It's easy to connect to multiple docking stations or a laptop with a mouse and monitor. No setup required, everything works like plug and play. It has become easier for me to work as a developer and trade intraday, work and use with a keyboard and a mouse.

Great little KVM: Computer components

Does exactly what I need. Screen sharing between computers. The remote control is a handy feature that allows you to hide most of the wiring.

Finally a well-functioning Displayport switch

I've been using HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapters and an HDMI switch for years. I had intermittent screen blackouts (each power outage lasted a second or two). Now my display images are very reliable, and the built-in USB switch makes switching between keyboard and mouse very convenient. I've been using this switch for three months and it has worked very well for me.

Video switcher worked, keyboard/mouse didn't work

I've tried several different keyboards and mice, wired and wireless, with and without a USB hub, but I couldn't get the keyboard/mouse to work on any computer/ combination of ports. Came back for a more expensive item that works great. I turned to Revain's chat help, which was excruciatingly slow and utterly useless. They then asked if I needed help returning the goods - I declined, noting that I had already issued a refund while I waited.

It didn't work for me - the monitor blinks.

I've seen some negative reviews and hoped they were isolated cases. Unfortunately, no. My monitor blinked every 5 seconds or so. The rest of the cables worked perfectly. The monitor was only 2560x1440, not 4k. Too bad, because the ergonomics are great - with a separate illuminated control box.
