I bought this to install an SCT X4 tune on the center console of my 2017 Fusion Sport. Works great, build quality is great. In general I am very satisfied. It would be nice if the base plate had a smooth surface to better accept the double sided tape, but it still works. I would highly recommend this to all SCT X4 owners.

If I were to mount it on a boat console for which it is strong enough the only addition would be good stainless steel anchoring hardware and a good application of anti-I have however ordered it to install the MCR in an old heavy duty vehicle and it was interesting to note that the 90° folded base of the mount fits snugly into the truck's recess and holds the MCR securely in place while still providing a good fit viewing angle.
