Perfect for my iPad as a therapeutic musician!

Use this to hold my iPad for music reference when I play the harp. This mount is held by a MusicMakers stand that attaches to the front stand of my harp. Very happy that this tablet holder can easily adjust the size for any tablet without spending a lot of time on adjusting screws etc. Very durable. For a therapeutic musician who frequently moves between patient rooms, this mount was a great solution.

Pros
  • U.S. Patent. #6,585,212
Cons
  • damaged

The mount does not fit the holder

I have other Arkon mounts and although the universal tablet holder is the same size on both, the mounts are different sizes what leads to problems. This means the tablet holder will NOT snap into place and will be held securely to this mount. The mount itself is smaller (probably so you can drive the screws in), but the result is a very loose fit that doesn't hold the tablet holder in place. Too bad. It might be a good product, but it isn't.

Pros
  • The support legs of the holder can be adjusted to fit different tablet sizes
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Sturdy, easy to install waterproof iPad/tablet case

My husband is the captain of a 100 ton boat that often delivers boats at sea or ICW. In this waterproof case he keeps his tablet, in which he has a program called Navionics for planning a course. He loves how easy this case is to install and the raised sides add extra protection for his tablet. It is ideal for use on the water, especially when the ocean waves are raging.

Pros
  • Mount for handlebars up to 33mm in diameter
Cons
  • I am silent

The bracket does not fit the bracket

I have other Arkon brackets and although the universal tablet bracket is the same size on both, the brackets are different sizes which causes problems. This means the tablet holder will NOT snap into place and will be held securely to this mount. The mount itself is smaller (probably so you can drive the screws in), but the result is a very loose fit that doesn't hold the tablet holder in place. Too bad. Cons

Buy something bigger

I tried using this on my boat to hold an iPad but it doesn't quite work for the task. The mount is very soft. It's difficult to make joints strong enough to hold without breaking. Works for a few minutes but when there is sea it keeps disconnecting from boat traffic. The fingers are held in place by tiny pieces of rubber. Be careful not to pull on the sides when inserting or removing the tablet, otherwise they will fall out.

Pros
  • Mounts
Cons
  • Something else
