Description of Arlen Ness 18-324 Big Sucker Stage I Air Filter Kit with included Cover

Features a one-piece aluminum backing plate/carb support bracket with patented hidden Breather technology and radius air inlet. Eliminates the need for banjo Fittings, Hoses and filter. Breather passages exit at the mouth of the carburetor/throttle body, creating a virtually closed-loop system. Kit Includes high-performance filter, backing plate and Steel outer cover. All necessary hardware and instructions are included with each kit.

WORKS BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for everything guys but don't forget to throw in your carbs if you have any, my bike is a total mess right now hahaha.

worth your money.

Gave a huge increase in flow over the stock air filter. It also looks a lot better. My '04 Sportster made more power at low rpm and was easier to handle in all gears. Very easy installation, although no instructions were included. Very impressed, worth the money.

Easy installation, no oil leak on my 2015 Harley.

Easy installation, no oil spills on my 2015 Harley Davidson Sportster 72 as some have said. Had to reconfigure my Vanse twice and tweak the FP3 to take advantage of the extra airflow. Big performance boost and looks great. Overall, I recommend it to anyone who wants more performance and looks.

Best upgrade for air cleaner

Nice upgrade to repair stock oil breather. no more puddles of oil in the air filter. easy to install but you need to plan your carburetor setup. nice performance increase. The only drawback would be the smooth stainless steel lid with a slight indentation in the middle. If you're obsessed with looks, you might want to spend the extra for a blank lid. Despite this, it still looks good and the price here is higher than any other offering I could find. would buy again.

Looks better in reality than in the pictures

Looks better in real than in the pictures. There is a small dimple in the center of the lid if you tighten it well (which of course you should) but I think it improves the look due to the way the chrome reflects. The chrome is high quality and has a lot of metal in it. The included back panel is much stronger than the plastic panel that came with the bike. The only downside is that there are no instructions included, which I found odd. You can find the .pdf, but it's hosted by Revzilla, not…

If only everything else on the bike were that easy.

Definitely one of the coolest aesthetic modifications I've done to my 2003 1200 Sportster. I also felt a difference in performance right after installation. Others have mentioned the need to reload carbs, but my bike sounds good. I'll check the spark plugs to be sure. Installation was too easy as the filter mount is pretty basic. I had no problems as everything was perfectly aligned. Depending on how much of a perfectionist you are, this kit isn't exactly perfect. There will be a small concave…
