Terrific! Best in Lighting and Ceiling Fans

After much frustration trying to find good under cabinet lighting for our kitchen we settled on this one. They work great and our contractor said they were easy to install. Now he recommends them to all his clients. Don't forget the transformer you need. I would also add a dimmer. They are quite bright and we have them at 20% power.

Pros
  • Got it!
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Pay a little more for a very good color temperature 2700K

I'm pretty picky about the color temperature. I've bought a few rolls of LED bulbs and this is the first set I've received with a decent warm white incandescent or halogen light color temperature. I have too yellow-orange. I have some weird blue-greens that say 3000K but they don't. The best so far, albeit probably the most expensive. There was not a single failure of individual elements.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Unreliable

Good quality LED strips

This is the second time I have used Armacost strip lighting. The first time it was for the base cabinet lighting in our kitchen, which we renovated two years ago. This time I bought them for the interior lighting in the pantry of our RV. I've seen other light bars for less but appreciate the pure Armacost quality. I also appreciate the online support documentation that Armacost provides in addition to their good instructions.

Not for beginners in lighting and ceiling fans

Excellent product. It is dimmable and has a fantastic range of white tones. We can go from super white to a beautiful sheen. There is one caveat. Unless you're an electrician, planning, layout, soldering, and installation can be difficult and even dangerous. Although I'm not an electrician, I've worked with electricity in one form or another for most of my life. But I didn't plan the time or skills involved in this project. Bottom line: once you are confident in these skills, hire a licensed…

(Mostly) Great for under cabinet lighting

UPDATE: I got a response from their customer service the first business day after sending my email and they are sending a replacement strip. Good service! Changing to 5 stars (out of 4) Pros: - I like how thin they are - 2700k light color is perfect and warm with even light distribution - Fairly bright - Easy installation with a dimmer or switch Cons: - Adhesive is not very good and requires little Additive. Upon arrival some LEDs were off (just emailed and waiting for a response from customer…

Good quality good price

I installed cabinet and wall cabinet lighting in my kitchen using Armacost LED strips and Armacost transformers (3 different sizes for 3 different runs). The whole system works perfectly and provides a nice even lighting. I found I got the best results with the quick connect cables when I took the time to remove the paper and 3M tape from the back of the LED strip by about 1/2 inch. This made it possible to clean the copper pads on both the top and bottom of the LED strip and left no sticky…

There is nothing better. So easy to install. Super versatile. I made under cabinet lighting, 3 sections. Our electrician hardwired three points to a switch. And we installed the lights ourselves. The tape is wrapped at both ends, which allowed us to use two 8ft bags for all three points. 6-8 inch jumper wire on one end, about a meter on the other. We'll cut this down to about 8 inches for the third strip. However, we had to buy 3 dimming drivers because we installed the dimmer on the switch…

Amazing lights in wall lights

I've always wanted to be one of those cool kids with countertop under cabinet lighting; and now me! These things are pretty cool, very bright, and work well with an accompanying dimmable transformer which I hooked up to a sink light so they both turn on at the same time. The dimming function is really good. So when I wake up in the morning to make a cup of coffee, I can set it to the darkest setting so I don't have to burn my retinas or eyes first thing in the morning. was that there was a spot

Much better with a rail to mount them

I like the idea of these light bars but have a few questions. The connectors were annoying, sometimes they worked after plugging them in, sometimes they didn't. It took a long time for all the sections under our closets to really hold together. You would take a plug on a section of strip and it would work, then you would put it under a cupboard and it wouldn't work now. If they could make the connectors more reliable I would give these lights a solid 5 stars. Also, using the strips alone didn't
