The chair arrived damaged - the wood was peeling where the armrest was attached to the base. This part doesn't appear to be attached very securely - a large staple, but mostly stapled together. Love these chairs! They look so much more than their price (we paid $115 each). They are beautiful. Incredibly comfortable - I used one of these as a work chair while waiting for my proper work chair to arrive and had no problem sitting in it for many hours straight. The metal peg leg illusion works great too (I was afraid it would look cheap if bought online). Beautiful chair. It was easy to assemble. Just screw on the legs and you're good to go. However, the legs were uneven, causing the chair to rock back and forth. The legs were also a bit unstable because the leg braces are square and the part of the chair you screw them into is rounded. So it's easy to have one at a different angle than the others.
