I bought 5 of these chairs a few months ago. We finished our basement a few years ago. I assembled the chairs 2 weeks ago. We had our first party, not a loud party, hangover. We are a family of 5 living ON our central island. We bought 4 of these chairs and only have 2 left. The stools look great, are very comfortable and the price was great. Do not be fooled. You get what you pay for. inferior quality. The chairs are broken at the base and no longer stable enough to sit on. They also glide over hardwood floors. The style of the stool was great and I initially loved these bar stools, they were exactly what we were looking for in terms of style and size. But then I actually sat on one of them for a long time one night at dinner and you could feel the square frame under the pillow. They look like the picture and they look good but for $100 I find the quality very poor. (but what can I expect, they were made in China but I couldn't find anything that wasn't). I'm not even sure how much weight they will hold and I can't find that information anywhere on the site. Also, the measurements are wrong. It's about 20 inches wide, not deep. The item arrived and I immediately started unpacking the parts to find that one of the legs was badly deformed. Luckily it was the end that got stuck in the seat and wasn't visible during assembly.
