Art 101 USA 173-Piece Wood Art Set - Multi-Colored (Model: 53173MB) Review

I bought this for my 5 year old. He loves to. He is sad that his paints are almost finished. I haven't checked if they have a replacement for this color section for him. He loves that he can close his "briefcase" and take it with him on trips or back and forth from his room to the dining room to paint and draw. He was very happy when he saw it and opened it. This is the perfect gift for any of your little artists.

My six year old daughter got this set for Christmas and after a month and a half I noticed that many of the markers were dry. I don't know if that worked out, but my daughter now misses her old Crayola set that she got last year. I think the case is very good and most of the materials inside are good too. I was a little disappointed that instead of 70 crayons of different colors there are (roughly) three of each color, so we only have 24 colors to work with.

Should both rows of crayons be the same? We received 2 identical colored pencils with 35 colors. They are even arranged one above the other. I thought we were going to get 70 colors in 70 crayons. Crayons are like crayons - 36 pencils, 25 colors, 11 repeats. Maybe because these are the most common colors they think are used the most and you need 2? There were also a few watercolors that had peeled off and were floating in the palette. It's okay, I'd rather do that than try to paint with glue…
