I'm glad it's not expensive because it doesn't cost much. For a company that makes really good shaving products this is a disappointment, looks like something out of an 88 cent store.

This holder is VERY small for all but the shortest shaving brushes. The stand is no more than 3 inches high, which causes my brush's bristles to spread out around the base. My brush is 4 inches long from hair to handle. This is the standard size for most shaving brushes, but this stand can't hold them. Maybe my brush is too wide or the stand was made smaller than usual. I don't know, but when I put my brush on it, it's very tight and pushes some of the bristles directly in the opposite direction that you push them. Maybe a little polishing on my part will make it perfect. That's it. If you're looking for something bright or stylish, look for something made of wood or stainless steel. This was the first brush holder I've held my first brush by, so no complaints. If I spend more on a better brush in the future, maybe I can do the same for a stand. Until then it won't hurt anyone, it arrived intact and the same color as pictured and relatively solid. Overall, it's definitely worth it when you have Amazon Prime and free shipping.
