Very happy with this kettle. I love its elegant shape and perfect size. Unlike many other glass teapots featured here, the tea infuser can be completely removed and the lid assembly still works - allowing you to remove the tea from the kettle to avoid over-brewing while still keeping the contents warm. Not sure why this kettle has such a high rating. The glass is very thin and when I took it out of the box I knew it would break in the near future. The tip of the spout broke when I hand washed it by tapping it lightly on a mug in the sink. The tip of the spout is now serrated glass. Also, I had trouble maintaining the temperature when brewing tea. Because the glass is so thin the pot doesn't heat up very well and I had trouble keeping the tea hot just a few minutes after pouring. This also…
