This charger broke after 2.5 months

I ordered this as a replacement as I lost my original surface 3 charger somewhere that plugged into my surface! Luckily I wasn't worried about fire, but the "gold" contacts shouldn't be gold, because they started to burn more and more, and the magnetic connection got weaker and weaker, and after a month and a half it completely died. I started connecting the charger in a weird way. It was getting harder and harder to keep in touch with charging. A few days ago it stopped loading completely. I…

Ordered in February and already alternating. Everything is fine with the cable/adapter. I plug it into an outlet and the light on the charge port doesn't light up. Thinking it was a problem with the light, I connected it to the computer. Nothing. If you don't want to replace it within a few months, I advise against buying it.

The information is probably inaccurate.

Get what you pay for. The specs say it's slightly more powerful than my original book charger, but it can't meet the power demands when I'm gaming, which was never a problem with my original. If you don't do high-performance tasks, you'll be fine.

Works perfectly! for computers and accessories

Works great (unlike the last two 'replacement' chargers I've ordered from other vendors for my Surface Pro 4 and had to return in a couple of days. This charger looks every bit as accurate as the original OEM charger but more reliable than the original 35w charger It feels solid The charge indicator works just like the original and the USB port on the charger charges my iPhone quickly up to to full charge while charging the Surface Pro doesn't get hot (warms up just a bit) like other chargers…

Overheating and no indicator light

This made my surface warm. There's no indication that the Surface is actually connected to the charger. I wasted my money and damaged the surface with this inferior charger.

Product does the job and saves a lot of money considering the chargers are around $75 in the store, the cord is a bit short but still useful.

Product error in the Computers & Accessories category

I strongly advise against purchasing this product. The battery for my charger failed no later than 2 weeks after purchase. This item is defective and should not be purchased by anyone else. In my opinion this product is a scam and should be removed from Revain due to lack of reliability and functionality.
