Description of πŸš— ASC Audio Premium Car Stereo Wire Harness & Antenna Adapter for GM Chevrolet 03-06 Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Sierra - Built-In 12 Volt Power Wire - Works with or without Bose/Amp - No Y91Bose

Radio wire harness and antenna adapter for installing an aftermarket radio. This wire harness adapter allows the replacement of a factory radio in select General Motors vehicles with Class II radios. This adapter will retain factory features such as warning chimes and provides a data-bus generated 12-volt retained accessory power output (RAP). RAP keeps the radio powered after key-off, just like the factory system. Important: Wire harness only works with standard and standard Bose/Amp systems. Will not work with the Digital Bose systems usually identified as Y91 or UQA. Will not retain some features like steering audio controls, Onstar, etc- extra adapters required. Compatible with: Buick: 2004-2005 Century, 2004-2007 Rainier, 2002-2007 Rendezvous; Chevrolet: 2003-2006 Avalanche, 2003-2005 Blazer (S-10), 2000-2005 Cavalier, 2004-2012 Colorado, 2003-2007 Express, 2000-2001 Impala, 2002-2005 Impala, 2001-2003 Malibu, 2004-2005 Malibu Classic, 2000-2005 Monte Carlo, 2003-2004 S-10, 2003-2006 Silverado, 2004-2006 SSR, 2003-2006 Suburban, 2003-2006 Tahoe, 2002-2009 Trailblazer, 2000-2006 Venture; GMC: 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Canyon. , 2002-2008 Envoy, 2003-2007 Savana, 2003-2006 Sierra, 2003-2006 Yukon; 2003-2008 Isuzu Ascender; Oldsmobile: 2001-2004 Alero, 2002-2006 Bravada, 2000-2006 Silhouette; Pontiac: 2001-2005 Aztec, 2001-2006 Grand Am, 2000-2006 Montana, 2000-2005 Sunfire.

WILL NOT FIT 2005 GMC SIERRA with Boss

This did NOT work on my 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with Boss. The description says it is compatible with this truck but it is not. NO SOUND AT ALL.

Great for 2005 Silverado 1500

You will definitely need this for 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 if you want your doorbells to work. Easy to read instructions and an overall best plugin game

2003 Silverado for radio wiring

Used this on my 2003 Silverado 2500hd with Bose and it worked. Doesn't support my steering wheel controls. The cables proved more durable than the pioneer MVH radio I connected it to.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I won't tell

No wiring diagram - still doesn't fit

No wiring diagram or instructions were included with the adapter - just a connector with cables. The wiring may be of current standards, but there's no quick way to know for sure. UPDATE: Will not fit 2004 Tahoe. The small fork is not the right configuration. My setup was a standard OEM, non-digital Bose. Neither Y91 nor UQA were listed on my code sheet, but the connectors are wrong anyway.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

DON'T WORRY about radio wiring harnesses

WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT A SILVERADO RADIO ADAPTER IF THE SPECS FOR THAT ADAPTER DID NOT MENTION THAT THE COLORS OF THE WIRING OR THE COLOR OF THE TRUCK MATCHED? WHAT IN THE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CONSIST THAT YOU NEED THE TRUCK ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM TO CONNECT THE ADAPTER? WHAT IS SPECIFIC IN THE PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS THAT THE ADAPTER IS SUITABLE FOR THIS SILVERADO? DO NOT BUY THIS EXPECTING THAT THIS WILL BE AN EASY INSTALLATION PROCESS.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Annoys

DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN CAR AV INSTALLATION

WHAT IS THE SILVERADO RADIO ADAPTER GOOD IF THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THIS ADAPTER DO NOT MATCH THAT THE COLORS OF THE CABLES DO NOT MATCH THE ORIGINAL CABLE COLOR? WHAT IN THE INSTALLATION MANUAL STATES THAT YOU NEED TO GET AN ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM TO CONNECT THE ADAPTER? BE A SIMPLE INSTALLATION PROCESS.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • keep silent
