He liked them, I think mostly because of the palm tree pattern, but they weren't as comfortable as one would think, all that gel.

Was very skeptical at first and after receiving them I loved them. But fit as expected, with my high arch I always change the insoles. Especially with children's shoes, because the insoles are not designed for comfort. I got so many compliments on these shoes at the gym. When I transitioned from barefoot running shoes to these, I noticed within 0.10 miles that they were noticeably heavier and put more stress on my calves. I wear them for short runs.

I love my new shoes! Although I would like these to come in width! However, they don't! Asics if you ever see this, do it! I have wide feet but I specifically bought these mesh shoes knowing they would stretch and they do. Walk/jog around the block once and they formed at my feet. Very convenient. Worth every penny. I bought these shoes for a great walking shoe when I'm on vacation and going to do a lot of walking in Las Vegas. Later I will clarify how they lasted.
