Poor quality in my rating

The shoes were only worn for a week. And they already snapped in the sock and the threads snapped without rough play. Very disappointed. Low quality.

Pros
  • Comfortable!!! The small black dots on the outsole that I checked with the seller are related to the recycled material.
Cons
  • The ASICS Kid GT-1000 9th Grade Running Shoe comes in just one colorway: Peacoat/Black. This can be frustrating for kids who want more variety in their shoe choices.

Came back too big. to my rating.

Based on the reviews I ordered a little more than usual. For me it's not necessary with Asics, they fit more to my size. I bought Asics but not this one. They seemed comfortable, but I couldn't try them on because they were at least an inch longer than a sock.

Pros
  • My daughter loves this very much
Cons
  • May Not Provide Enough Support for Serious Runners: Although these shoes are marketed as running shoes, they may not provide the level of support and cushioning needed for kids who are serious about long-distance running or racing.

rubbish ..... in my rating

Either ASICS has stopped being a quality brand or they are selling defective, defective models on Revain. The shoes I received could not pass quality control. They are stained and discolored, with clumps of glue and deformed soles.

Pros
  • Bought for my son for several years in the same style. Great shoes but wore out very quickly!
Cons
  • Relatively expensive: Compared to other children's running shoes on the market, the 9th grade ASICS GT-1000 running shoe is relatively expensive. This can be a disadvantage for families on a budget who may have to shell out more money for a single pair of shoes that their child can quickly outgrow.

Nice shoes, a full size smaller than usual

A full size ocean for a child - but so much have these missed. The seller, OTOH, is nice and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Pros
  • My daughter loves the style
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all foot types

Overpronation Champion

My son has relatively narrow overpronating feet. He wore these Asics with and without orthotics. Every time he needs new shoes, I order him a few different shoes to try on so we don't miss out on anything better. . . This is his fourth pair. There is nothing better for him. He chooses her and we agree every time. These suit him very well. As if they were made just for him.

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions

Great shoes for kids with pronation!

My son has had braces since he was 2 for pronation and toe grinding. He is now 6 years old. He recently stopped wearing braces because our doctor says they will no longer help him. His pronation is better, but you can still tell. These shoes are great for pronation. When he walks in these boots, they seem to make him walk properly. They don't replace braces, but he loves them and says they're comfortable. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because the front of the shoe started to loosen on…

Great shoes

Bought because this style was recommended by my son's podiatrist. My 6 year old son needs arch support. It has insoles that offer some support but when paired with these shoes it really makes it easier. If he runs/plays in another shoe he will complain of discomfort or even pain at the end of the day. He doesn't complain when wearing these shoes (with insoles). I specifically ordered a half size larger than he normally wears to prepare for his size. He says they fit him and he likes wearing…

Pros
  • Athletic shoes
Cons
  • Expensive
