They were for my husband and he said it's probably worth getting better shoes because his feet feel so much better after a workout. Such an amazing understanding. He is very happy with the shoes.

I like them because the upper breathes easily, they are lightweight and also for support. I wear orthotics for flat feet and they work well in these shoes. I had GT-2130s before so it was a smooth transition.

I recently received these NROTC training shoes. I used to have a great pair of Asics and wore them down during the school year. They are just as good if not better than my 2120s. I feel like they have a lot more support and cushioning and I've never had blisters from my Asics. They shrink a bit after a few miles, like any shoe. I would highly recommend these shoes or any pair of Asics to anyone running any terrain. I use them on soft sand, gravel, pitch grass and sidewalks. they dry out quickly

I love this shoe, it fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I've been running with them for a week now and have never been happier with a pair of shoes. Just make sure the arch support is right for you before you buy it.

I bought these as a Christmas present for my boyfriend who decided he wanted to work out halfway through. He hasn't taken them off since he opened the box. He really likes these shoes and says it's like walking on clouds all day.

RE Asics Mens GT-2140 trainers are good shoes, could use more heel support - sides fit well. Looks good, just wanted a little more cushioning under the heel without having to improvise.

I love these shoes but I share some of the concerns that others have expressed regarding the sizing chart. I wear regular 8.5 but can't figure out what extra size ASICS is adding. I respectfully ask you to add useful sizing information or simplify your listing.

I'm a longtime Asics fan and have worn several styles over the years - always a size 12 - but they had a narrower toe box than usual and pinched my toes (that would certainly pinch ingrown lead nail). on my big toe when I wore them) - so had to be sent back (unfortunately with return postage costs for me). I have moderate flat feet and use them as a shoe for working out in the gym or on the treadmill. I use a pair of Brooks Beasts on the road for extra support at the expense of a heavier shoe. I've ridden 425 miles with this pair so far, according to Runner's Studio. If you look at the profile you can see they have about 200 miles to go. I bought the 2140 because it keeps my right ankle from overpronating. Its cushioning also makes it a great road shoe. One downside, at least for me, is its weight - too heavy. Another thing is that I have narrow feet (width B). The pair I ordered is a width B but as far as I can tell they are no narrower than the width D version. They are still great sneakers and look quite quirky!
