I've never seen hook and loop tape so poorly made. Usually there is a long strap that goes through the side of the shoe and then folds itself so that one side sticks to the other side, but instead they just have a top strap that sticks to a small piece of material on the side . shoes, and there's no way the shoe will fit properly or last long once that little piece of material wears out. Terrible design, don't fix what ain't broke. Do not buy. My son didn't like these shoes and neither did I.

My son feels quite wide and although it doesn't suit wide feet I gave it a try because we bought other Asics and they fit great. The shoes are lightweight so perfect for running, sports or just a regular school day. The fabric makes it very breathable so my son's feet don't get hot or smelly. The tread on the bottom is just enough to prevent it from slipping on wet ground and getting caught when walking on grass or mud. Give only 4 stars because the size is too small, otherwise it would be full 5 stars! The toe is tilted which is why they are so small! So be sure to buy a size or two!
