Order 1/2 size larger. for women

I liked the previous Kinsei so I bought this one. The biggest problem is that they rub my heels. Usually there was no such problem before, even with ASICS in general. Aside from the heel issue, they're not bad.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Love this shoe for women

If you are a long time Asics Kinsei user - this shoe dates back to 2006-2010 when Kayanos and Kinsei were very similar. I'm waiting for them to bring back the asymmetrical lacing. it was wonderful. These shoes are comfortable and the arch support is divine.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some flaws

I liked that the shoe had great traction. The front or toe of the shoe is good. However, the hard area that wraps around the heel of the shoe makes it difficult to wear because it doesn't give way over time due to the man-made materials. The heel area cuts into my ankles even though I have small ankles.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • ---

Used shoes are sold as new

Very happy to receive these shoes as I have had several pairs of Kinsei. Immediately after opening the shoe, it was noticed that it had been worn before. The soles were dirty with debris in them. Inside creases visible from wearing in front. Some have small footprints. Although they can be used sparingly, they were used nonetheless. They should have been priced accordingly.

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Too narrow toe

Years ago I was loyal to the Asics brand! I could buy any size 11 and they fit! A few years ago they didn't fit! When I asked why they said they had changed but? Anyway, I bought a pair of Brooks Ghost - good ones but too soft for me. I wanted more support. I bought a pair of Salomon for trail running, they are great but I wanted road running shoes. I bought a pair of Nikes for cross training. Someone told me that Asics went back to their original toe line so I tried a pair of Kinsai shoes…

Pros
  • Slight fit
Cons
  • I'm nervous
