👟 ASICS Gel 1150V Women's Volleyball Shoe Review

Asics are my favorite shoes, whether it's trail running, road running, crossfit or racquetball. I have never had a problem with sizing and was able to order their shoes because of this consistency. Well I just had my first anomaly - I bought 8 and unless my foot has shrunk significantly overnight they are not the right size. Pretty disappointed and now I have to find my "inner bigfoot" to wear them. Too bad.

As a person with wide feet, I am very satisfied with this purchase. The wide toe box makes this shoe comfortable and won't pinch little toes. I ordered a 9 (which is 1/2 a size larger than my norm) but I think it would be ok if I ordered my normal size 8 1/2 (FYI I used an Asics tool to determine your size). I also bought a pair of Asics Venture and ordered an 8 1/2 for the perfect fit. Hope that helps.

I play pickleball and need good running shoes. My current Asics Gel Rocket 7 shoes are no longer in production. . . Grrr! I let them think they would feel better on the second walk, but they didn't, so I sent them back because the sock was really TOO big. My socks rubbed against the insoles and made the neuroma worse. I live in a small town that has no shoe stores so this is hit and miss. Next time I find shoes I like I will definitely buy two!

Narrow width but twice the size suggested by Revane to avoid an exchange. This is my second pair of ASICS for indoor sports. The first were men's shoes because I was afraid the women's sizes would be too small. The sole is great - non-slip, very stable even when the weather outside makes the surface of the court a bit wet. The internal cushioning in the sole, flanks and heel is great. Well ventilated.

Probably lasted longer than they should but my daughter wore them for 2 seasons of MC Volleyball and 2 seasons of Club Volleyball. Part of me thinks since they were so great the first time I should just get them again, but now that they're moving to HS I could spend a little more. Technically she can still wear them, they've served us so well, but I'd say we've had our fill with them.

I've been playing volleyball for about 35 years and haven't bought volleyball shoes for a long time. I wear running shoes because they are more cushioned and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit and feel comfortable. However, running shoes simply do not support lateral movement and wear out very quickly. I received 9 silver/royal blue/black. Remember my usual size is 9 and it fits perfectly. Pros: 1) Very durable shoe, but choosing the wrong size can be harmful to your foot. (For any volleyball shoe, it shouldn't be too loose or too tight.) 2) Looks great with any uniform. Bought these racquetball shoes. If I hadn't thrown the box away (oops) as soon as it arrived I would have sent it back. The shoes are decent, hold up well and have a wider toe box than most pumps, which is nice. Arch support is pretty good and they are more or less comfortable. Luckily, a volleyball team is allowed to shop and find their own shoes as long as they're primarily black with some silver, gray, or white, and Asics did the job.
