Description of Asigra Cloud Backup

Asigra is an Enterprise Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) software platform that MSPs host and operate themselves as part of your services portfolio. And because MSPs own it, they control the customer relationship, the margins, and the pricing, which makes the MSP more valuable to a potential buyer. MSPs are partly valued by their number of secure customer relationships — one where they own what they sell, and they control the price, quality, service and customer communication. This is unlike insecure customer relationships shared with predatory cloud service vendor suppliers who can (and often do) steal the relationship. It’s not possible to own everything you sell. But it is possible to own some of it; specifically, the must-have products for all digital environments, like BDR software. Asigra was the first (and still the only) BDR software that keeps you out of the Attack Loop, the latest hacker move that has already taken out so many companies. And Asigra reduces risk exposure with multiple layers of protection including retention immutability, multi-factor authentication, password-free biometric authentication, backup renaming and a soft-delete for administrators. But most importantly, Asigra builds measurable value for your MSP. Because when you own what you sell and it’s worth buying again and again, your customers become assets you can leverage to garner a higher price when you eventually sell your MSP business.

Easy setup of database as well cloud storage services

I like how easy it was for me to set up my backup jobs with the web interface. The service has been good so far - no issues! We are monitoring our backups via email at this time but haven't really had much work done in regards to restoring data from backups yet. Still early days. If we do have any problems or need assistance then we've called their support team who were able to assist us almost immediately. Monitoring daily/weekly backups, ensuring that all systems & applications are backed-up

  • Also very quick response times when contacting customer care staff by telephone / e mail etc
Cons
  • Not too many features currently available within product; would be nice some more customisation options
