Does not work with switched outlet.

I have an outlet in my closet that is controlled by a switch. This light will not work with a switched outlet. When the wall switch is on, you also need to press the built-in switch to turn on the light. The built-in switch does not stay on when the device is off. I'll bypass the built in switch but don't want a splice.

Enlighten your life!

This is the coolest flashlight ever! I put it on my headboard and I love it! I just place it on my windowsill and it illuminates the room with a soft white light that can be adjusted from very bright to a soft night light. For years my husband and I have struggled with bedside tables. Either it was on while I was trying to sleep, or mine was throwing a light on the TV and you couldn't see it, or it was knocking them over when trying to turn them on, they were causing a headache. I'm worried they're so hot!

Where I live there are a lot of tramps in the back where there is no lighting; There have been many problems with it (including murders). I hope to put these strips between my screens and my bedroom windows and go outside, leave them on all night, hoping to keep people from hiding out there.
