Where I live there are a lot of tramps in the back where there is no lighting; There have been many problems with it (including murders). I hope to put these strips between my screens and my bedroom windows and go outside, leave them on all night, hoping to keep people from hiding out there. They seem perfect for this, but even after turning them on for 30 seconds, I immediately felt warm from them --- I really want to be safe from uninvited guests in my house, but I also don't want to burn myself in that place :/ . Has anyone left them in for a long time? Gratitude! . If they didn't heat up so quickly I would have given 5 stars. later added: i like everything except---they get so hot they turn off within an hour (which i think is better than bursting into flames)---i emailed the company and they did asked to either send properly working headlights or refund my money. I will only keep posting if I don't get satisfaction from them; If there are no more messages from me, then please assume that you have fixed this error.
