Correctly packaged inside

I built a new PC and bought this MOBO, new processor, power supply, memory and M.2 HD. The board arrived on time in a secure package. The box contained many factory accessories including cables and cable labels. During installation, it was found that the board did not recognize the memory in all slots, even though all memory cards were new. Contacted the seller to discuss this. Technical support was great. All parties agree that the circuit board was defective and was promptly replaced. Big…

Easy installation. Could only access mobo drivers on .

Replaced a broken 4 year old ASUS Z87 that was a little buggy from day one. There aren't many options when looking for LGA 1150. Easy installation. The mobo drivers on the CD can only be accessed with a wired mouse. The USB mouse/keyboard didn't work without a driver update, and for some reason my wired keyboard didn't work either. It would be nice if it had Wi-Fi, but a cheap dongle will suffice instead.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Almost never

This is a great looking board

Had major problems setting up in Win10 as none of the network drivers worked, no CD to install drivers from there. I'm still having trouble running numlock with and without fastboot enabled. It's a great looking board, ASRock's software is pretty helpful if a bit ugly but works well. Worth the money in my opinion, would have been 5 stars if it was better compatible with Win10 out of the box.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Attention M.2! for motherboards

Pro: Easy UEFI setup. High speed. Connection M.2. Support 32GB DDR3. Acceleration Presets. Cons: You lose 2 SATA channels when using M.2, so there are only 4 SATA channels. I needed 5

  • Fun

Good motherboard but too expensive

Overpriced but I need an LGA 1150 for my processor. The motherboard works fine, I had no problems with my previous motherboard (ASUS Z97).

  • Great for me

Budget quality motherboard a generation behind (mid 2017)

When building a computer from scratch you are often a gamer who wants the best possible performance, or at least, or maybe a "Craftsman" who wants to build a powerful home computer for less than a retail pre-assembled unit. This motherboard strikes the right balance between performance and price. Its capabilities are about 80-90% above the latest technology available in mid-2017, but it costs a lot less than other state-of-the-art systems. It's been running great for several months with no…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Very happy with ASRock motherboard

Excellent motherboard. Not bought for gaming but for daily home use. Installed quad-core i5 processor and 16 GB of memory. Easy with built-in video and audio. Very happy with the features and quality. Will buy ASRock again.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Disappears

Great motherboard for the price, easy to set up.

Like: Good features for the money (e.g. optical audio out, lots of SATA 6 and USB 3.0 ports) Looks good in the case, with big red metal heatsinks. with many overclocking functions. The RAM was easy to overclock, just set the default memory profile in BIOS, save and reboot. Disadvantages: none. : MSI AMD Radeon R7 - 265, 2 GB GDDR5 Case: Antec Onepower: RaidMax 730 Watt Media: LG 16X Blu-ray M-Disc BD burner HDD 1: Samsung 250 GB SSD EvoHDD 2: Seagate 3 TB 7200 rpm operating system : Windows 7…
