Great advice on internals

Love the MOB. I installed an AMD 7 1700 with a Spire cooler. Keeps cool and handles several games I play as well as Corel Painter 2018 and Photoshop. Installed in a Raidmax Prime Alpha case and set up the AMD CPU/RGB fans and looks good. This system is so quiet compared to my i7 7700K. Finger on the plastic I/O cover. But overall very satisfied

Also they could be better with the back

Integrated WIFI/Bluetooth, lots of fan connectors and nifty little features. My biggest complaint is that the connection ports, especially the WIFI ports, are loose or not clearly laid out on the board. Also they could be better with the back plate.

DOA, Sharp Edges, Loose Parts

Extremely sharp edges on refrigerators. No beeps, no useful indicators, just lots of spinning fans and a pulsing red light on the board to help with "troubleshooting". The Wi-Fi antenna connectors were loose and difficult to secure as the mounting screws did not fall off the motherboard. To top it off, it was DOA. QS, learn. I am very disappointed as I have already bought ASRock and I really like it.

The board broke after about 6 months of use.

I had no problems with this board before the board crashed. Unfortunately, one of the PCIE slots had an over voltage issue that would crash my computer if the slot was occupied by a GPU. Of course, you don't want your motherboard to fail since everything is plugged into it. To replace the circuit board, you have to completely rebuild the PC. At the same time, this board is very affordable, has built-in Wi-Fi, and has the features I need. I hope I have a lemon and I don't run into this problem…

Broken Fan Connector - Motherboards

The second case fan connector on my phone didn't work so I had to use a Y-splitter to do the job. Update: After 3 months I finally found out that this motherboard is the problem with my frame drops in all games. Replaced it with a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite and completely fixed the problem. I will never buy Asrock products again.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Important information. Must read.

According to the instructions on this mobo you should find a bios version number sticker on top of the bios chip. It looked like it had been taken off and the remnants of the sticker were still stuck to it and the number was not visible. Judging by the QVL for the processors, they had several A12 processors declared compatible with all BIOS versions and I bought them along with a compatible ram on QVL. I always check the bios battery and find it's dead and this isn't the first time. You should…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
