I bought 2 of these after renting them from a friend. I immediately bought 2 more and this is the only unpowered mic I use. Great reports and super long cable.

Works as it should, with retractable mechanism, no hassle of hanging in the dark to put the mic back on the hook. As for clarity and thickness, I don't know what they're talking about.

This is by far the best mic I've used on my Cobra 29 LX! I've always had positive feedback on the sound of my radio. I also don't use noise toys, echoes, reverbs or Rogers horns. I was told my radio has studio quality sound!
