Compact and easy to use. It took me a while to figure out how to set up the player to work with the ripper. Also, there are no instructions on the player how to upload files to SD card instead of internal memory, but I got help from A&K customer service. Very satisfied

Very easy to use and connects easily to the AK SR-25. Don't expect to finish the CD quickly. Took about 45-50 minutes each way. I would like to see an indication that the copying process is complete. Apart from this small inconvenience, it is very pleasant.

Ripper was a little tricky to set up as the manual is small and very difficult to read (partly due to my age I think). When I finally set it up, I put the CD in. The device worked for about 5 seconds and just died. Tried several other CDs and different 5V power supplies with the same result. Wide World Stereo seems very accommodating and I am currently awaiting instructions from them on how to return the unit for a replacement.

Works great with my Astell&Kern Kann Cube. The device is incredibly capable of copying an MQA encoded CD onto my Cube, which decodes and plays it. MQA CD decoding usually requires software, hardware, etc. and is usually trial and error. The combination of the Ripper II with the Kann Cube makes this as easy as pressing a button. The device is beautifully finished, very high quality and reminds me of the monolith from "A Space Odyssey 2001".

Bought and returned an unused refill. I should have researched this product before buying it because it not only rips WAV or FLAC formats (I prefer AIFF), it cannot rip SACD discs, it is not and does not compatible with my A&K PEM11 charging station Not. Does not come with the required power adapter. A beautifully designed and solidly built device has too many functional limitations to justify the price, at least for my needs and purposes.

First of all I like the product. It works well. The ripper does NOT play CDs, it only rips to media. This is normal for me, but a valuable detail to know before buying. CD ripping takes time, even in the fastest retrieval mode. Also, I bought this ripper in "almost new" condition, but the micro-USB power in the ripper port appears to have been significantly (or grossly) drained, breaking the power connection when using an A&K or something else shaky is power cord I tried.
