Ideal for filtering tap water!

Great for filtering water from faucets or wells you don't trust. This gives me the certainty that my drinking water is better filtered for drinking. The only thing I don't like is that the charcoal filter in the bottle makes the bottle heavier than a regular water bottle.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

You have to work hard to drain the water.

Very interesting concept. However, there are two disadvantages. 1) Due to the size of the filter and its design, the "actual" amount of water that can be drunk is about 40% less, so you need to refill water frequently. 2) Again, due to the construction of the filter attached to the 'straw', water does not seem to 'leak' when using a spout/straw to drink from a bottle, and therefore there is more when drinking from a spout Power Required / Straw. We are giving the two we bought to our family.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Weight

Needs a lot of improvements in design and durability

Update: I got the bottle out of my backpack and it slipped, hit the wooden floor and snapped at the bottom of the bottle. Considering that the bottle is the least technically demanding part of the entire installation, I was very surprised at its fragility. The filter and custom straw became useless because they didn't fit in any other bottle. There is no doubt that the filter works. Our main problem is that we need lung effort to pull the purified water from the spout. work out. Astrea spout…

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Odd taste, stains, dirt

This is my 3rd bottle using a different filtered water and I am pleased to see how it compares to others I have used over the years. In general I like the look. and you don't mind "sucking" to get water, but the water tastes weird. This may have something to do with its unique filter, which I'm one of the few that filters out lead, but I almost always get an odd/not-quite-plastic taste, especially after it's been sitting for a few hours. My other big problem was the mouthpiece getting dirty in…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
