I use this gun all the time when I fix furniture. This is far better than other guns in this price range. the whole pistol is made of metal, which makes cleaning much more pleasant. When spraying latex paint I always add floetorl latex additive. It thins the paint a bit, but more importantly, it makes the latex look more like oil paint. They eliminate all streaks. The only problem I have with this gun is the heavy primer. I switched to a larger tip for this material.

I followed the exact instructions Jake M wrote in his review and it worked great to paint 6 curtained doors. It takes a while to get the settings right, but the last 2 coats have been really smooth for me. My tip: Always use at least 1/3 can less, otherwise there will be spatters. I bought this product specifically to paint a graphic stripe on an RV. I used Behr Outdoor Latex diluted with 25% water, which worked perfectly, but in retrospect I think a 20% dilution would have worked just as well and required fewer passes (the paint was very thin).
