Every mechanic needs it.

These things work great. I bought one for myself and two more as gifts for mechanics and family. All three work great. It's not my first time using them and I really like them.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Works once! for circuit tester

Worked once when I first got it and just tested to make sure it worked, then when I had to check some fuses it didn't work! I loosened 2 screws and checked 2 batteries which turned out to be ok. Will not work!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Pretty good

Handy test light, leader in electrics

I've had several of these over the years. I use them every day at work. The only downside is that it measures a small voltage (6 volts) in a 12 volt system. You need to take out the VOM and measure the voltage. Good for checking car fuses.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing

I love this tester! in Electrical Engineering

Awesome tester. Just touch something that serves as ground (a bare metal part of the car) and use the probe to test the power supply. It lights up and beeps. It can be used to pierce wires and reverse test some connectors (the tip is sharp but tapered so its area is limited). For the price it's a must have tool for me.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Appearance

Very low cost for a very handy tool

I was skeptical when I got this tool as big brands are much more expensive. That's cool! Buy the ones you like. Used it for wiring the boat, easy. Used it to find a short in the truck's wiring, easy as pie. I've used it to touch everything on a battery just so I can be amazed at how well it works.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not bad

Warranty? in Electric

I bought this to replace another brand I had for years that finally pissed me off. Just minutes after I bought it, I saw another brand that had a lifetime warranty and was actually cheaper. These Astro stamps are only guaranteed for 1 YEAR so within 6 minutes of purchase I tried to cancel this order but Revain wouldn't allow it so I ordered another brand cheaper and with a lifetime guarantee and this Astro -Stamps returned when they arrived.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Incompatible for Tester

I am disappointed with this tester and would like to leave a comment if anyone has a suggestion. I used it this week to test the 12 volt wiring in my truck (part of the pre-installed auxiliary switch box). First I measured with a multimeter and confirmed 12V. Then you used this astro tester to see how it works. I brought the probe to the 12v wire and touched the steel bolt in the engine compartment. Nothing at first. Tried a few more times. After about the 3rd try (without changing anything on…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Was damaged
